Who this is for: people who think better on their feet, people who find a face-to-face office a lot to sit inside of some days, and honestly, anyone who’d rather be outside. It’s not just for the easy, lighter sessions either — this covers trauma work, physical symptoms, neurodivergence, couples work, all of it. Movement can support your nervous system through the harder conversations just as much as the casual ones.
How it works: 60 or 90 minutes, walking the whole time or splitting it between walking and sitting, in or out of the office — whatever the day calls for. Weather doesn’t cooperate? We move indoors or reschedule. Nothing here is all-or-nothing.
About privacy on a public trail: it’s chosen specifically because it’s quiet. But if a particular conversation needs total privacy that day, we can start walking and shift into the office instead. Totally normal to ask.
Walk & Talk is the same clinical work as an in-office session — just a different setting.
